Why is the Villa eco-sustainable?
HEATING:
Source: Ground floor, heating with pellet stove and optionally with fireplace and split operating as a heat pump. Floor -1, LPG heating and in need with split operating as a heat pump.
Sourcing: As far as pellets are concerned, we use the supplier who is most competitive from time to time. A load of 3 pallets is usually sufficient, which allows you to make up for two consecutive winters. For firewood, local dealers (farmers) are used
Average consumption/year and costs: pellets consume about 100 bags/year. The cost depends on the value of the pellets in the period (generally purchased in August).
Maintenance: At the moment, the pellet stove is maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions, about once every two days. Drain hose cleaning once a year. There are no costs if you proceed alone, the intervention of technicians has never been required.
LIGHT:
Average consumption/year and costs: annual consumption of about 5000 kWh. With solar panels (installed in April 2024), consumption is expected to be reduced by more than about 50%. The costs with the current energy price are around €1200/year, which is estimated to become less than €600/year with the use of panels.
GAS Cooking
Average consumption/year and costs: Induction cooker present, max power 7.2 kW. Very difficult to determine the costs, they are included in the general light expense.
BURGLAR ALARM AND CAMERAS: Burglar alarm not present at the moment. There is a Security Ca system which, however, has not been renewed (in subscription with the previous owner). The sirens remain as an anti-deterrent and all the sensors on all windows and doors. There is a Hik VIsion camera system consisting of a DVR recorder and 7 cameras located by the intercom, along the entrance and around the property. Everything can be viewed remotely via the App from a mobile phone. Ability to view events before overwriting for at least 3 days in advance.
DRINKING WATER:
There are no wells for irrigation. There is a small irrigation system working underground. There are two drinking water meters…
