Built from scratch between 2013 and 2016 in a modern version of the traditional Sardinian stazzu style, it resembles a lodge or loft with a large, bright, well-insulated and ventilated living room furnished with high-quality materials, but also with many beautiful vintage and recycled details incorporated into the design and furnishings: back to basics, a sense of simplicity, but with many small comforts.
The property is a true retreat among the rocks with total privacy, overlooking a beautiful landscape from the capital of the Costa Smeralda and Corsica behind to the imposing mountains towards San Pantaleo. Two covered verandas and a large terrace surround the villa, and many rural relaxation areas all around have been created to enjoy every season with the ideal sun/wind exposure.
The total area with porch is 126 m2, the internal living area 118 m2, including technical and storage rooms, a garden of approximately 500 m2 and a total plot of 30,000 m2.
On this plot there are viewpoints, imposing granite rocks to admire or climb, a natural pond and vegetation ranging from palm trees, cacti, aloe vera to Sardinian strawberry trees, protected juniper trees, centuries-old olive trees and typical cork oaks. Throughout the year, the typical wildflowers in the fields provide natural colors, from lavender to red poppies and yellow broom. Lush flowers such as bougainvillea, hibiscus, jasmine, oleander, plumeria and "purple rain" have also been planted. For production and consumption, there are several hundred olives, some almonds, many strawberries and fruit trees, from lemons, oranges and pomegranates to pears and figs. Fennel, mushrooms, onions and garlic grow wild. Near the kitchen there is a herb garden where rosemary, oregano, bay leaves, sage, parsley, mint, basil and much more grow.
