The tombolo lace museum (which has a dedicated path for blind people), is located inside the 19th-century Palazzo De Castellotti Pagnanelli which, since 1998, also houses the archaeological museum "G. Allevi", the Popular Traditions and the A municipal art gallery and is a real cultural hub.
The heart of the village is Piazza del Popolo, with an unusual triangular shape, on which different buildings for style and material overlook. On the main side you can admire the Town Hall, with an elegant logof of thirteen columns in travertine and porch of the 15th century. Formed by brick columns with travertine capitals. From the portico of the town hall you can access the beautiful Golden Snake Theatre, built in the 1800s, full of stucco and gilded carvings. The same square also overlooks the 18th-century Collegiate Church, which features a composite-style facade and the Church of the Sorrows, where the Coffin of the Dead Christ is kept. Not far away is the Church of St. Augustine, with the adjoining Chapel of the Eucharistic Miracle. The most important building of worship is located on the edge of the village, on a cliff with steep walls: it is the Church of Santa Maria della Rocca, an imposing Romanesque-Gothic terracotta architecture, built in 1330 on a pre-existing longobarda church Inside you can admire the beautiful frescoes of the Master of Offida of the 14th century.
The former monastery of St. Francis, in the historic center of Offida, is home to the regional wine shop that offers a complete overview of the wine production of the piceno and the Marche.
The most significant events taking place in Offida during the year include the historic Carnival of Offida (January, February), Offida Opera Festival (September) and Di Vino in Wine (September).
The local food and wine excellences are: the stuffed chichì (a focaccia with tuna, anise, capers and peppers), to which a festival is dedicated, the "mushrooms" (sweets made with anise) and the wines Terre of Offida Doc and Offida DOCG.
